Dear Reader, Be here now.

Dear Reader,

Be here now.

That’s been my grounding mantra in this very full season. This weekend is busy—after a full week, and before another one ahead. So today, I’m keeping it short and sweet.

Just a note—

If you’re also feeling the May madness (end-of-year everything, calendars overflowing), know you’re not alone. The way I’m getting through it is by putting one foot in front of the other, and gently reminding myself to be here now.

Enjoy the moments you have to enjoy.
Accept what won’t happen.

For me, that means the carpets won’t get vacuumed. My dog’s blankets? Staying funky a little longer. No homemade breakfast this Saturday. My spending tracker hasn’t been updated yet—and probably won’t be until later today.

This weekend has been powered by Dunkin’ breakfasts, drive-thru lunches, and lots of deep breaths.

And that’s okay.
Because even in the rush, I’ve had little pauses—like this one—where I can simply be.

If your days are feeling equally packed, I invite you to join me in this small but meaningful practice: Be here now.

Thanks for taking the time to be here with me.

Until next time—take care and be well,
Everett
