Who is $pent Millennial?
$pent Millennial is the twenty-something, going on thirty-something who wakes up in the middle of the night worrying:
- Who will take care of my parents, children, cats?
- Will I ever be able to afford a house, kids, fancy cheese?
- What if I never learn better, do better, feel better?
And pushes themselves to make it to the weekends just to end up asking:
- Where did all my $ go?
- How is it already the end of the month?
- What side hustle can I take on that will be worth the weekend work?
Only to wake up Monday morning wondering:
- Why am I so tired?
- What happened to all my clean socks?
- When do I get paid again?
All while questioning: Where are all the people who are going through what I am going through? Am I in this alone? Is it just me?
I might not definitely don’t have all the answers, but I can tell you this: It’s not just you. You are not alone.
It can be hard to see us beyond the social media highlight reels we share. But behind Valencia filtered brunches and #nofilter beach shots, we hide. Our hours are filled, long and too few.
